It could be said that the process of creating a piece of art is similar to birthing a child. You spend months molding and building and shaping and maturing the piece. Near the end, you labor to finalize the piece, tweaking and perfecting and finally bringing forth the end product so that it might live and grow and flourish in the world. From my own perspective, I feel as though I was the expectant father, running back and forth between the delivery room and the waiting room to inform all those who have gathered for the blessed event of the details of the delivery. Each time I came out to share news, I could sense the anticipation on the faces of those waiting, "Is it here, yet?" and "When will it arrive?" This time, it gives me great pleasure to make the announcement that everyone has been waiting for…

Just a note about the picture gallery – if you select the slideshow presentation you will not be able to click on the individual images for larger views. To see larger views, change back to the Picture List. You will then be able to click each image for more detailed images.
The images you are seeing are actual photos of the real ring and not artistic representations. The gallery above shows the ring as it might appear on your (or your girlfriend’s/fiancé’s) finger. We’re also showing both the yellow gold and white gold versions. Just imagine the thrill of wearing the real, authentic Bella’s Engagement Ring TM!
Some important information regarding the upcoming release: While you will be able to start placing orders for the ring on July 18th, please remember that the ring is being made available now as a pre-issue!
- Actual delivery of your pre-issue ring order will be 4 to 6 weeks after your order. This is true even if you purchase an expedited shipping option, such as 3-Day Select, 2nd-Day or Next-Day Air! This means that while you can order the ring on July 18, the ring won’t actually be available to ship for another 4 to 6 weeks.
- If you do pick an expedited shipping option, that option will be honored once we have the rings in our inventory and are able to start shipping.
- Your credit card will be charged at the time of order!
- All rings will be shipped insured and signature required. This means that someone will need to be available to receive the ring upon delivery.
- We cannot ship jewelry items to Mexico, Thailand, or Poland due to restrictions imposed by those countries.
- We do not offer a payment plan for the ring.

Several improvements have been made to the ring design since it was first described in detail in this blog post, so I am going to repost the details of the rings here.
First off, let me explain the difference between the Classic Edition and Signature Edition of the rings.
Signature Edition pieces are limited to 613. They are accompanied by a special, numbered Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by Stephenie Meyer! These are true heirloom, collector’s rings and can be registered. Once we have sold out, they will not be made available again.
Classic Edition pieces are not limited, will be for sale on-going, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Classic Edition pieces do not differ in design, quality, or materials in any way from the Signature Edition pieces other than what has been described above.

i really appriciate the work that you into this ring but i was really hoping for it to be smaller and a bit more delicate like i imagined it on bella’s finger

Whitney – The ring will always be available. However, the Signature Edition will not. The Signature Edition will be available only while supplies last. It is limited to 613 pieces, and as soon as they are gone, they will be removed from our site. The Classic Edition will continue to be sold for as long as we are allowed.

ok so it comes out we get to the site put the siginature one in our basket then go to checkout while checking out can the limited rings sell out or once its in your basket its yours?
Marie – it is theoretically possible that could happen. However, so long as you don’t place the SE ring in your cart and then wait a few hours to actually buy it, I don’t think you will have a problem. I wish I could say our store software was sophisticated enough to prevent that from happening, but unfortunately it isn’t. I can say we really didn’t have a problem with that type of thing during the sale of the SE bracelet, but we did have a few people who placed it in their cart and waited a day or so before actually ordering it.
Let this stand as a warning – just because it’s in your cart does not mean you are guaranteed to get the SE ring.

Maria – That’s 613 total rings. You get to pick the options you want (yellow or white gold, size, genuine/fine/fashion, etc.). But there are only 613 signed certificates of authenticity, so there will only be 613 total Signature Edition rings.
Why was one of the pictures of the ring (the one with the frontal view of the gold ring) taken down? Will it be reposted? I’d like to see it again because I’m still trying to decide between gold or white.

wait… what exactly is the difference between the signature and classic?
Sent email about it earlier, but saw comments was open for this, so asking here. Which pictures posted are of the White Gold version of the ring? I looked at all of them and only saw one that actually SAID it was white gold, and it kind of looked silver to me in the picture. Are there any other pictures of the white gold version? Love the ring either way, it’s more beautiful than I had even thought it would be. Was just wondering about the pictures.
ok sorry another question this is my last question i promise but what makes the fine ring cost so much more than the fashion ring other than the fact that the fine ring comes in custom sizes? its hard for me to believe that the sizing makes it cost almost $500 more
Emily – The image you are referring to is probably the one that turned out to make the ring look like it was made of bronze, and not gold. It was taken down by request of Infinite Jewelry Co.
Monique – In my experience, white gold is silvery in color. The image I have posted is what I have for the moment. I’ll see if I can get some new images of the white gold version soon. But just as a comparison, here’s an image of a Gucci white gold ring.
marie – The Fashion ring is 14K Gold plated while the Fine ring is solid 14K Gold.

Kristen – The ring will be available for you to order a noon (MST) on Friday, July 18. However, since this is a pre-order item, actual deliveries of the ring will not begin until 4 to 6 weeks later.

Wow! This ring is so beautiful. Whoever designed this ring did a great job. I would love to get the genuine or fine ring in the signature option but I would have to save up many paychecks for that, lol. Hopefully, the price will go down in time. EDWARD ROCKS! For all of you who are having difficulty determining what time in your time zone the ring will go on sale, please click the Time Zone link that appears underneath the date announcement itself. This will help. There are things to keep in mind:
1 – Arizona, except for a small part, does not celebrate Daylight Savings Time. This means that we are currently on the same time as California. Noon in Arizona is noon in California and all of the west coast. However, when everyone else stops celebrating Daylight Savings Time, Arizona will be back in its normal time zone of Mountain Standard Time – the same as Utah and foreign countries such as Idaho (just kidding to you Idaho folks). Confusing? So as it should be. That was the intention of the designers of Daylight Savings Time. Many people think the intention was to “save daylight” but those people are fools.
2 – If you are in New York, you are currently three hours ahead of us. Which means, noon in Arizona is 3:00 PM in New York.
3 – GMT is Greenwich Mean Time, which is the global standard for determining time zones. Arizona is GMT-7, which means we are seven hours behind GMT. Looking up your GMT zone will help you determine how many hours ahead or behind Arizona you are. If you look up your GMT and find that you are, say GMT-2, then subtract the difference, and you will find the total number of hours AHEAD of Arizona you are. If your GMT is, say, GMT-10, then you are 3 hours BEHIND Arizona.
There are a lot sites out there that will help you determine your time zone and how far ahead or behind Arizona you are. The World Clock is just one of them. Do a Google search on Time Zones and see what you come up with.

One last thing – for those needing sizing information, we will be posting a sizing tool that you can use to determine your correct ring size. If per chance you were able to download the PDF that was supplied with the survey, that will be the tool we’ll use (unless it isn’t).

I’m probably going to buy the fashion ring, but I need to know how long you will have these up- I would like the real thing as MY engagement ring, but that’s probably a couple of years away. Lol.
My mind was blown away when I saw the pictures!!! Brian, you and the rest of your team did an excellent job! I do have a question though, does the fashion ring have the possibility of changing color? I know it won’t turn my skin a different color (I saw the earlier post), but can the ring it self change color? I was just wondering, cuz I can’t afford even the fine ring without doing some serious begging, if the fashion ring, which I know doesn’t have the same quality as the other 2, but will it look different than the others?

I think the ring doesn’t look delicate nor elegant at all. Bella would never wear a huge ring like that. It’s so big it seems fake. Too bad..

Hi, I wanted to let you know the ring looks beautiful and you did excellent work! I was wondering though, what exactly, “true heirloom, collector’s rings and can be registered.” (Describing the signature edition ring) means. I am also a bit confused to the differences. Is it basically just paying 20 dollars for Stephenie Meyer’s signature, or is there more to it? Also I was wondering if the classic edition fashion ring would come in a nice ring box, or something of that manner.
