Hokie Hope News, Not Twilight Related
|
Twilight Teez, LLC would like to take a moment to remember the victims of the tragedy at Virginia Tech. The image to the left pretty much explains it all. Clicking the image will display a larger version which will let you read the text.
Too much attention has been given to the killer, and not enough given to his victims. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends and all others who were affected by this. Please click the image to learn more.

Eclipse Prom News
|
Alright, everyone, as you probably know by now, the Eclipse Prom is going to be May 5th, which comes immediately after May 4th. Both days happen to be a Saturday, which is a direct result of a major malfunction with the U.S. Government’s primary flux capacitor. Yes, generally speaking, this should cause a major disruption in the space/time continuum. It’s not. I don’t know why. Don’t ask me to explain the nuances of quantum physics, okay? I don’t know why it works this way, I just know it does.
I won’t give you all the gory details of the prom, because frankly, I figure you already know more about it than me. But in case you don’t, you can get the specifics about the prom itself from Stephenie’s site. What I will tell you, though, is that Twilight Teez is going to be there; at both proms. We will be offering a limited edition Eclipse t-shirt that you can buy, right there, at the prom. A limited edition t-shirt is a t-shirt edition that’s limited. In other words, it’s only going to be available for a limited time in limited quantities. What we will have at the prom will basically be what we will have at all. Ever. It won’t be offered at any other time (unless Stephenie herself tells me I’m wrong). If there’s any left overs after both proms, we’ll place them up for grabs on the web site at normal prices. Once they are gone, they are gone! Unless we receive specific instructions from Stephenie, we will not offer the Eclipse shirts again once our inventory is tapped out.
The cool part of this is that Stephenie Meyer will be signing any shirts that are brought to her during the prom. So basically, you buy a shirt from us, take it to Mrs. Meyer for signage, and viola! You have a special commemorative item that will not only be special but commemorative as well. A custom memento of your prom attendance. And it will last you forever or until it eventually wears out over time due to normal wear and tear (whichever comes first).
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that Custom Memento would be a good name for a rock band. And you’re right. But you’re also probably wondering how much this will cost. The good news is that the answer is “not much”. Specifically, the pricing will be as follows:
- small to x-large shirts will run you $20.00
- 2XL to 3XL will only be $25.00
All sales taxes will be included in the prices, so what you see here is what you will pay per shirt. We will only be able to accept cash at the prom, so please, if you plan to buy one or several of these, don’t try to buy with a credit or debit card. If you do, we will just stare blankly at you. Or gently remind you that it’s cash only. Or whatever. Also, during the prom we will only be selling the Eclipse t-shirts. We won’t be able to offer anything else in our inventory.
So we look forward to seeing you all there. It’s going to be awesome! Or cool, cool, awesome! Or 4w3$0m3! Or whatever new fangled lingo you cool, hip youngsters are using these days.
